School Based Mental Health Supervisor School Based/School Linked Health Services

Our School Based/School Linked (SBSL) sites provide a unique environment for professional Mental Health Workers to perform direct service to the student population at local schools. The School Based Mental Health Services Supervisor provides professional clinical oversight commensurate with her/his license (LCSW) to school-based mental health staff (registered interns/trainees).
The position requires strong organizational / time management skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and often stressful environment. Must be able to work in collaborative support to the Mental Health Services Manager to ensure overall standards of quality in services, compliance with regulatory requirements and overall program goals are met. Demonstrated flexibility in regards to job duties and assignments with the ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team to organize tasks, problem-solve and make decisions while handling multiple priorities. The position also works with our School Based Mental Health Services Coordinator in evaluating staff performance, monitoring of productivity, implementing of performance improvement plans, coaching and assisting in corrective action when necessary.
As the clinical lead for school based mental health services, s/he is responsible for providing strategic and programmatic recommendations to improve the program and ensure its success. This position is accountable to the Mental Health Services Manager in matters of clinical compliance for mental health under the requirements of her/his licensing board in accordance with Federal and State regulations. Position may also serve as representative for mental health services at TVHC to external stakeholders at off-site meetings as assigned.
General Requirements: Masters degree in social work, psychology, and counseling or related field required; Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or licensed with a minimum 2 years of successful licensure required; At least two years prior experience in administration, coordination with supervision of mental health and/or case management/counseling services programs; Excellent verbal and written communication skills demonstrated by the ability to communicate effectively and relate congenially with parents, children, clinic staff and providers, and community referral representatives. Prior work experience in a social services or healthcare setting as a direct client services provider (i.e. case management, social worker, or other) highly preferred.
