Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) the Director, Quality Management/Risk Management, is responsible for overseeing the Agency’s Quality Management/ Risk Management Program, to include e.g. the Agency’s Health Plan, the Risk Management Plan, the Improving Organization Performance Plan, The Joint Commission Ambulatory Care and Patient Centered Medical Home Accreditations, Program Audits, Professional Credentialing and Privileging, Clinical Performance Improvement and activities, QM/RM data collection, and analysis, and other QM/RM related projects
Current California R.N. License, Public Health Nurse Certificate and
Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from an approved, accredited school of Nursing, or a Master’s degree in Nursing from an approved accredited school of Nursing, or Master’s degree in Public Health or related health field, and
four (4) years combined nursing and QM/RM experience in a hospital and/or ambulatory clinical setting, or a Masters Degree in public health or health related field and six (6) years progressively responsible QM/RM experience in a hospital and/or ambulatory clinical setting. Experience and knowledge of the Joint Commission Ambulatory Care and Patient Centered Medical Home standards and Accreditation process.
