The Embassy Management group of companies provides personalized services that enrich the lives of an amazing group of children and adults by providing social services including residential services, employment support and behavior therapy. The companies including Aacres WA, Aacres NV, Aacres CA, SL Start, Imagine Behavioral Services and Aspire Human Services operate in Washington, Idaho, New Mexico, Nevada and California.

The Management Services Team provides skilled professional and administrative these multiple entities. These services include general administration, human resources, accounting, information technology services, training and professional development.

SUMMARY
Develops policy and directs and coordinates human resources activities, such as employment, compensation, labor relations, benefits, training, and employee services by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Analyzes wage and salary reports and data to determine competitive compensation plan.
Prepares personnel forecast to project employment needs.
Writes directives advising department managers of company policy regarding equal employment opportunities, compensation, and employee benefits.
Consults legal counsel to ensure that policies comply with federal and state law.
Develops and maintains a human resources system that meets top management information needs.
Oversees the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization.
Studies legislation, arbitration decisions, and collective bargaining contracts to assess industry trends.
Writes and delivers presentations to corporate officers/employees/property managers regarding human resources policies and practices.
Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages Human Resource Department. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Master's degree (M. A.) or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
PHR or SPHR preferred
