Finance Director

Samuel Dixon Family Health Centers, Inc. (SDFHC) located in the Santa Clarita Valley in northwestern Los Angeles County seeks to hire an experienced Finance Director. SDFHC is a newly designated FQHC.

Under the direction of the CEO,s/he develops and manages all financial aspects of SDFHC to ensure soundness and efficiency, including financial statements, accounting practices, maintenance of fiscal records, and the preparation of financial reports.

This position is responsible for general accounting, property accounting, internal auditing, cost accounting, and budgetary controls, and the billing and accounts receivable, payroll, and accounts payable functions. This position supervises the billing position and ensures consistency and accuracy between Finance and Billing.

The successful candidate for this position will have a BS degree, accounting experience in a nonprofit setting, preferably healthcare, experience with government contracts, monitoring and reporting.
