Developer

Summary: Seeking a Developer to assist in real estate development activities of Cathedral Square, a highly innovative and successful non-profit provider of service enriched housing. He/she will work as part of a team to build high quality, affordable and accessible housing. The Developer will represent the company’s mission and interest in all aspects of the development process. He/she will demonstrate a commitment to providing housing opportunities for low and moderate income households, and the ability to communicate the value of this work to a variety of audiences.

Qualifications: Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Community Development, Business, Liberal Arts or a related field. Experience in grant writing and project funding applications, real estate development (preferably in affordable rental housing), and project management in multi-family real estate preferred. Experience with an array of legal documents used in development including options agreements, partnership agreements, notes, mortgages, regulatory and security agreements, AIA contract forms, is preferable. Must possess a valid Vermont driver’s license and reliable transportation.
