To ensure that its health centers are well-equipped to continue to provide comprehensive reproductive health care to the women, men, and young people who rely on Planned Parenthood in the wake of health care reform, the Strategic Manager will serve as the key liaison between the Federation and targeted states on its ambitious, health finance project, ensuring that states have the plans and resources necessary to execute their strategies. The Strategic Manager is fundamentally a strategic thinker and problem solver who is expected to constantly evaluate and recommend changes in strategy and tactics in coordination with other team members at the state and national level. Applicants must have a background in health finance policy as well as project management, and knowledge of Planned Parenthood and its affiliates is important. This position will work extensively with affiliates, consultants and senior staff within the Federation. The Strategic Manager is also a natural multi-tasker who learns and processes quickly and exercises good judgment when dealing with a wide variety of people.
