SALARY: $48,886.56 annualized ($2,036.94 per pay period) + Excellent Benefits

QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree , or equivalent years experience, and an additional three years experience providing direct client services in a mental health setting (licensure supervision hours for LCSW or MFT may be available). At least one year of experience supervising staff and managing program, demonstrating effective leadership skills is required. Must be able to demonstrate case management skills and a thorough knowledge of mental health interventions, terminology and experience with outpatient services billing. Must demonstrate effective assessment, advocacy, organizational and communication skills. Require experience in working with diverse populations and within a diverse team. Computer literacy is required. Ability to travel to offsite meetings required. Experience with Medi-Cal Billing is strongly preferred. Knowledge of Supported Self Management Model is a plus. Candidates must successfully complete a background and reference review.
THE AGENCY: Conard House, Inc. is a non-profit agency striving for cultural competency which develops services to help a diverse population of adults self manage their mental illness. The position is with Conard House, Inc. Supportive Housing Program which provides income advocacy, case management and housing at nine hotels in the Tenderloin and South of Market areas as well as the Cooperative Apartment Program with housing located throughout the city. DUTIES: - Supervise Supportive Housing staff at program location, including hiring, training, performance review and recommending personnel actions. - Monitor and maintain Medi-Cal charting and billing standards according to guidelines and regulations. - Meet individual staff in weekly supervision and review individual staff charting on a weekly basis. - Monitor timely completion of all charting and billing objectives on a weekly basis. - Work effectively with staff from The John Stewart Company to coordinate property management issues and maintain a collaborative team. - Develop and implement groups and activities to address resident needs within an independent living program. - Ensure accurate and timely completion of statistical and assessment reports for program location. - Assist Associate Director with monitoring program budget. - Attend Program Director's business and program meetings. - Work in collaboration with Shelter+ Care staff including completing Shelter + Care documentation and attending case conferences as necessary. - Assume responsibility for case management of half a regular staff’s caseload. - Must carry a pager or cell phone for emergency response including evenings and weekends.
