The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® (LLS) is the world’s largest private health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research and providing education and services for patients and their families. LLS has a long track record of success nationally and in Eastern Pennsylvania.
The Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter of LLS seeks applications and nominations for the position of Director, Development & Relationship-Based Events.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the successful candidate will oversee the Chapter’s Donor Development efforts, with special emphasis on Major Gifts, working closely with the Development & Special Events Manager. S/he will also oversee the Man & Woman of the Year® Campaign and help develop the Chapter’s Annual Signature Event.
S/he will have a demonstrated track record of success in soliciting major gifts, managing large-scale fundraising events, and conducting high-level volunteer relationship development and management, as well as staff management and professional development.
Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must.
The candidate will be highly motivated, seasoned development professional committed to the Mission of LLS and the long-term success of the EPA Chapter.
A Bachelor’s degree is required. A Master’s or other advanced degree is preferred.
