Job Title: Campaign Manager – Northeastern Pennsylvania Counties Department: Light The Night® Title of Immediate Supervisor: Campaign Director
Principle Function:
The Campaign Manager is responsible for the fundraising and active walk team account management of two (2) assigned Light The Night® Walks in Lehigh Valley and Scranton. Duties also include extensive year-round corporate partnership development and LLS brand awareness building in Northeastern Pennsylvania counties. Works under supervision, direction and training of Light The Night® Campaign Director and in conjunction with fellow Campaign Managers to accomplish assigned duties and responsibilities. Will also work closely with Executive Director to identify and cultivate new corporate partnerships on behalf of the Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
Team Management, Fundraising & Corporate Partnership Development • Achieve revenue targets assigned to each Walk even through management of individuals and teams, comprised of corporate employees and/or friends and family, with emphasis on high-level customer service. • Recruit new Light The Night® participation through networking, lead generation through current participants and grass roots marketing within Northeastern Pennsylvania counties. • Assist Light The Night® Director in the management of and ongoing recruitment for two executive committees, with primary focus on cultivating new revenue channels. • Assist with updating/creating campaign materials required for the successful implementation of campaign milestones including external communications, fundraising templates and various committee meeting materials. • Conduct extensive territory analysis throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania counties to generate corporate target lists. Secure exploratory meetings with area businesses for Light The Night Director and Executive Director with goal of acquiring new corporate partnerships. • Prepare and maintain financial records and statistical reports as needed. Staff Management & Coordination • Manage the daily operations, organization, and time management of NEPA Campaign Assistant. • Work with Light the Night® Event Coordinator to achieve budget goals with the two (2) Light The Night Walks in Northeastern Pennsylvania Counties – Lehigh Valley & Scranton. Other • Perform other functions and activities as directed by the Campaign Director. • Assist, as assigned, in the development and implementation of other chapter activities. Maintain a working knowledge of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society mission and its programs to address them. Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree • Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in a fundraising, sales, marketing or related field. • Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint) required. • Experience with database management a plus. • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally. • Able to simultaneously manage a high level of detail across multiple projects. • Able to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes while maintaining high levels of productivity and effectiveness under pressure. • Able to work well within a team environment, offering assistance and support to team members whenever necessary. • Proven success in customer service, sales or other development-related field. • Able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends. • Ability to travel throughout assigned Northeastern Pennsylvania counties. • Familiarity with Northeastern Pennsylvania counties strongly encouraged.
