A private property management company is seeking an Activity Coordinator for its Atlanta-based senior living properties.
The purpose of the Activity Coordinator is to significantly improve the residents' quality of life, along with providing recreational and cultural activities within the buildings in order to decrease isolation. The Activity Coordinator endeavors to help as many residents as possible, while helping them maintain their independence. The AC will also help in developing activity plans and calendars for all locations throughout the city of Atlanta, as well as operating a van to transport residents to activity sites.
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
•Bachelor's Degree in gerantology, physical therapy, recreational therapy or related field preferred. •Minimum 2-3 years experience working with senior citizens. •Minimum 2-4 years experience in coordinating community-based initiatives •Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills. •Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office •Valid Driver's License with excellent driving record.
