PART TIME MARKETING DIRECTOR

CSC Atlanta is seeking a P/T Marketing Director to assist in all areas of promotion and marketing for our nonprofit organization. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Marketing Director will assist in developing and implementing an annual marketing plan that will promote our organization to the Atlanta community and partners in the medical community. Marketing Director will also assist with annual 5K event, including promotion and securing of sponsors for the fundraising event.
Responsibilities
• Assist in the development of an annual marketing plan with Executive Director, Outreach Director & Program Director
• Present organization’s mission through frequent presentations to members of the medical community
• Working with the Executive Director, manage the development and implementation of social networking platforms including Facebook and Twitter
• Represent organization at various local events
• Promote 5K fundraiser through various methods in community
• Assist in securing sponsorships for fundraising event
• Perform other related efforts as needed

Qualifications
Potential candidates will have strong communications experience, preferably in the nonprofit and/or medical field. Professional presentation skills, working knowledge of electronic marketing tools (Facebook, Twitter, etc) and outstanding communications skills are critical. Must have highly collaborative interpersonal style with ability to exercise flexibility and work well with small staff.
• Bachelors degree, preferably in marketing or communications
• Excellent writing/editing and verbal communication skills
• Proven fundraising experience is a plus
• Relationship builder with the flexibility and finesse to work with multiple professional levels
• Sincere commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, board members, volunteers, donors, program participants, and other supporters
• Self-starter, able to work independently, and entrepreneurial; enjoys creating and implementing new initiatives
• Working knowledge and experience with MS Office Suite software
