Skyland Trail’s Department of Outcomes and Research is seeking a Research Coordinator to coordinate clinical research efforts and maintain databases for all outcomes and research activities.
In this position, the Research Coordinator/Assistant will provide administrative and research support to the Director of Outcomes and Research. Duties include, but are not limited to:
•Working as part of the Outcomes Research Team to collectively develop and/or implement evaluation design to provide support for clinical decisions including: data collection, extraction, coding, entry and analysis, and interpretation.
•Managing datasets organization wide and for various research/evaluation projects.
•Conducting longitudinal data collection including tracking of discharged patients at assigned periods, with a focus on cultivating relationships with alumni to boost participation and response rates.
•Assisting with preparation of documentation for all required evaluation materials, including protocols, literature reviews, surveys, databases and summary reports, presentations, meetings, etc.
•Other duties as assigned.
•Master's degree in Social Work, Public Health, or another area of health or behavioral health.
•Working knowledge of SPSS and MS Excel.
•Experience with quantitative or mixed methodological research approaches.
•Experience with statistical techniques such as correlations, paired samples analysis, and regression.
•Social science or behavioral health research and/or evaluation experience including logic model development.
•Experience in a behavioral health setting is a plus.
•Ability to work independently, multitask and meet deadlines.
•Strong communication skills including good verbal and written skills.
•Experience with MS Office, including Word and PowerPoint.
•Experience with IRB procedures is desirable.
