Community Prevention Services Coordinator: Seeking an individual who is knowledgeable about substance abuse prevention programming and experienced in managing public contracts. Main scope of work includes managing a Los Angeles County Substance Abuse Prevention and Control contract and ensuring that the organization meets all deliverables. Roles and duties include building relationships with other social service providers, representing the organization in County meetings, and carrying out all administrative reporting and paperwork. Salary Range: $35K-$45K DOE
• At least two years experience managing a public grants (LA County preferred) • Understanding of substance abuse prevention models and programming • Organized and detail-oriented • Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet frequent deadlines. • Understanding of the problems facing residents in South Los Angeles. • Computer proficiency
