AWP’s Director of Public Advocacy is responsible for helping AWP to achieve its mission by directing the engagement of the community, securing resources to support organizational programs and operations, and building community awareness and activism. The Director of Public Advocacy directs the Department of Public Advocacy; supervises the Fundraising Manager, Thrift Store Manager, Communications Manager, and Volunteer & Membership Manager; shares supervision of the Data Manager; and works closely with AWP’s leadership team to ensure a positive, mission-oriented tone for all public advocacy initiatives.
