Covenant House Georgia (CHGA) is seeking a dynamic, experienced director to join our team. CHGA will be experiencing significant growth over the coming 1-3 years and we are in need of a Director of Support Services who is energetic, compassionate, and has a heart for our mission.
The mission of Covenant House Georgia is to serve the suffering children of the streets. Central to that mission is the belief that every young person deserves to have people who care about them. We have been serving the young people of Atlanta for 11 years. Our youth are the mostly invisible homeless in Atlanta -- the runaway, the throwaways, the abandoned. Many have suffered abuse and almost all have been exploited. Covenant House is here to help with food, clothing, shelter, education, job readiness, emotional support and genuine care but the need is great.
Covenant House recently purchased a new facility that will house our crisis shelter, support services, a transitional living program, a health care clinic, and more. We are planning a significant period of growth and we need a strong Director of Support Services who can help guide us through the transition and aid in managing our new property. Qualified candidates will have experience in the areas of mental health, education, physical health and vocational services. The Director of Support Services reports to the Associate Executive Director.
