Job Description

-Responsible for all acquisition and active appeal imports and exports to mail house on a monthly cycle.
- Responsible for generating all donor acknowledgment letters.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining policy manual and documentation procedures for Raiser’s Edge use.
- Maintain The Raiser’s Edge database according to the annual schedule and task list.
- Implement and maintain security protocols in The Raiser’s Edge for all users. ------- Refine and enhance documentation of The Raiser’s Edge for use by the DBA and other relevant users that gives details as to the ways our organization uses it and why.
- Oversee gift and pledge processing with direct mail staff daily.
- Coordinate all gift processing with the Executive Director of Advancement and the Director of Donor Relations to ensure high quality control and that system requirements are being met by all RE users.
- Implement data oversight functions that ensure that a high standard of ‘clean’ data is being maintained. Work to train to relevant staff to ensure the quality of data.
- Coordinate bi-monthly training meeting with entire fundraising team.
- Create and offer trainings for new and existing users as well as to all users when software updates occur.
- Review standard trainings (through Blackbaud or other) and make suggestions to specific staff as warranted.
- Managing duplicate record process weekly with DM staff includes tracking duplicates, training staff on how to minimize creating duplicate records, merging duplicate records
- Collaborate with Advancement Office Grants Team and Major Gifts Team colleagues to ensure efficient use of prospect management systems.
- Process all NetCommunity transactions including Sign Up Requests, Online Donations, THC E-Store Purchases and other tasks to ensure NetCommunity and The Raiser’s Edge are up to date with all transactions.
- Reconcile gifts/pledges with Finance Department and liaise with Finance during financial audits to ensure that gift data is properly coded and communicated to the accounting software weekly.
- Create and run queries, exports and reports to support fundraising efforts, for Staff and program staff as determined by Executive Director of Advancement.

Certifications B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited college or university and 3 years experience in a development office environment, non-profit setting, or management of an integrated CRM database, or an equivalent combination of experience. Strong demonstrated experience with PCs, Macs and Microsoft Office suite. Expert knowledge of Blackbaud’s The Raiser’s Edge preferred, and working knowledge of accounting/budgeting software systems, specifically Financial Edge, preferred. Supervisory/management ability and proven effective use of information systems in support of Development programs.
