Under the supervision of the Associate Academic Dean of Global Programs and the Director of International Studies, the selected individual will support the staff of the Global Programs Office in the day-to-day operation of the office and with program administration. Responsibilities include preparing/distributing correspondence and program materials; answering general questions about programs; responding to email, telephone and in person inquiries; processing program applications; updating student records; assisting with scheduling and planning a variety of international events, symposia and visits; helping with social media outreach including maintaining and updating Facebook page; monitoring websites involving selected academic programs; and assisting with program-related research as directed. Additionally, you will maintain and update the Global Programs website; track/assemble program data, maintain databases and prepare spreadsheets; prepare reimbursement and check request forms and deposits; track payment of invoices; and assist with special projects and completes other duties as assigned.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree, 3 years of progressively responsible and related administrative work experience in a legal or academic environment, demonstrated experience working with diverse cultural and linguistic communities, and strong communication (including cross-cultural communication), English Language and MS Office (including Access) skills. Must have experience and skill in graphic design, a high level of skill utilizing social media, preferably for professional outreach, excellent attention to detail, strong time management, project management, organization, interpersonal and multi-tasking skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent judgment in handling confidential matters, discretion and diplomacy are necessary, as is a cultural sensitivity and desire to help students. Experience working with international students and ESL/EFL students or programs is a plus, along with knowledge of a foreign language and a strong sense of humor. Experience working or studying abroad is strongly preferred, while event planning experience is preferred.

This full-time, benefitted opportunity offers a hiring range of $43,508-$61,342/annually.
