The Director of Operations is responsible for the overall operation and delivery of our intensive year-round youth program and ensures that all community pathway, camp-based, college access and advocacy programs are consistent with the mission and philosophy of C5 Georgia. Director of Operations will work closely with Senior Management team and Board of Directors on strategic planning and fundraising activities.
•Five years experience in a full-time senior management role in both resident camp and youth development environments.
•Effective leadership, coaching, staff development, and team building skills.
•Professional business skills including accounting, human resources, marketing and strategic planning.
•Dedication and commitment to the development of youth and implementation of positive youth development best practices.
•Excellent project and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
•Ability to deliver presentations to diverse audiences including business leaders, parents and youth.
•Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills; fosters open communications.
•Proven success in youth interactions.
•Must be living to live and work at camp for three months of the year and work in a professional corporate office nine months of the year.
