JOB DUTIES: Under the general direction of the Agency Director, oversees the administration of the agency's service programs serving individuals with developmental disabilities. Responsible for the implementation of all Board service delivery policies, and the organization's long and short range service goals and objectives.
SUPERVISES: Service Directors in Community Living Support, Day Services, and Employment Services Depts.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
CREDENTIALS/LICENSES: Teaching Credential(s), Psychologist, LCSW desirable.
EDUCATION: BA degree required. MA or PhD degree in any of the following fields is desirable - Special Education, Rehabilitation, Business Management, Administration.
DIRECT EXPERIENCE IN SERVICE DELIVERY: Four (4) years paid experience in providing direct services to persons with developmental disabilities; service to both adults and children preferable.
DIRECT EXPERIENCE IN MANAGEMENT/ADMINISTRATION:
Two (2) years minimum experience managing services for persons with developmental disabilities. Four (4) years in management experience required. Administrative experience to demonstrate ability to perform the duties and responsibilities included in this job description, with emphasis on programmatic, fiscal, and personnel aspects of management. Additional management experience in the human services area is a plus.
