JOB DUTIES: Provides administrative leadership for all staff, services and activities of BI Day Services through the development and implementation of its goals and objectives for services and supports. Oversees the delivery of services to adults with developmental disabilities in Sonoma, Healdsburg, and Santa Rosa.
SUPERVISES: Service Directors in Sonoma, Healdsburg, and Santa Rosa
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
CREDENTIALS/LICENSES:
Community College, Adult Education, and/or Special Education- Standard preferred
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields:
Special Education, Rehabilitation, Business Management, or Administration
DIRECT EXPERIENCE IN SERVICE DELIVERY:
Four (4) years paid experience in providing direct services to persons with developmental disabilities services to adults required.
Two (2) years paid experience managing community based services is strongly preferred.
DIRECT EXPERIENCE IN MANAGEMENT/ADMINISTRATION:
Four (4) years in management experience required.
Two (2) years minimum experience managing a human service delivery system (for persons with developmental disabilities preferred).
Additional management experience in the human services area is a plus.
Ability to perform the duties and responsibilities included in this job description, with emphasis on programmatic, fiscal and personnel aspects of management.
