POSITION DESCRIPTION: Engages primarily in the supervision of Personal Assistants/Attendants, including participating in hiring, training, evaluating and disciplining staff. Also provides instruction and service coordination for a small number of service participants.

SUPERVISED BY: CLS Service Director
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION: The following is preferred: Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Social Work, Child Development, or a closely related field.
EXPERIENCE: The following is required: 1) BA or one year of management experience or one year experience as a Community Support Facilitator AND 2) Minimum of two years paid experience working with adults with developmental disabilities.
The following is desirable: Relevant experience working with non-ambulatory individuals; teaching, social work, counseling, health care experience; experience with writing and implementing instructional plans, collecting data, and using systematic instruction.
SPECIAL SKILLS: The demonstrated ability to provide staff training, supervision, and planning and carry out the principles of Supported Living. Possess interpersonal skills in areas including: communication, advocacy, and group dynamics.
