We are seeking a D.C.-based Budget & Finance Specialist to support the pricing of new business proposals, prepare various monthly financial reports, and provide ad hoc financial analyses. Responsibilities are to prepare cost proposals for new business activities, prepare and review budget narratives and justifications, prepare documentation for cost volume submissions, develop proposal budget templates, create cost-related responses to post-submission requests as well as assemble, manipulate and format financial data and reports. A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in accounting, finance, international development or a related field, master’s degree desirable. Plus four years’ experience in budgeting, program financial management, or accounting is required. Strong MS Excel skills are a must. Must be able to work with complex data, define problems, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of Agresso Business World software is a plus.
