Small Atlanta nonprofit serving youth ages 7 to 17 seeks full-time program director for after-school tutoring, mentoring and enrichment programs. Duties include:

• Plan and lead program activities in the after-school program, which currently meets on Tues, Wed, Thurs (3:00pm-6:30pm) and on 1-2 Saturdays per month.
• Supervise program staff, interns and volunteers
• Coordinate the logistics of field trips and program activities, including transportation of youth
• Work with schools and other partnering organizations that support the program and youth development goals of the organization.
• Administer the application process for the children and their families.
• Work directly with parents to understand and fulfill the needs of the children and families participating in the organization.
• Work with Volunteer Manager and program staff to provide oversight and guidance to program, administrative and special event volunteers and interns.
• Support Volunteer Manager in volunteer recruitment, orientation, training and management. Administer background checks and conduct orientations for potential volunteers as needed.
• Help maintain fiscal responsibility to the organization and associated grants.
• Assure the program maintains appropriate supplies and materials for program activities.
• Coordinate and conduct surveys for parents, children and volunteers.
• Help manage data collection activities that measure the performance and effectiveness of the program.
• Update program-related materials as needed.
• Other duties as needed.
