Mental Health agency seeking experienced Crisis Clinician to work in the community conducting phone and face to face crisis evaluations. Crisis Clinician provides care and immediate crisis intervention and follow up mental health services to clients. Primary function is to assess and triage individuals who present with a mental health crisis. The role of the crisis clinician will be to insure continuity of care: an immediate and professional evaluation, collaboration with proper agencies, referral to appropriate type and level of service, and advocacy for any treatment deemed necessary beyond the initial crisis.
Skills and Experience: Must have excellent assessment and diagnostic skills and a valid Colorado LPC or LCSW license or have a license that can be transferred from out of state to an LPC. Minimum of 3-5 years crisis experience required, depending on location. ED crisis experience or bi-lingual skills a plus.
