CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER, GIVE2ASIA

SUMMARY OF JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) holds primary responsibility for the financial affairs and day-to-day transactions of Give2Asia (G2A). Primary responsibilities include overall gift administration, budget management, financial tracking and reporting, annual audit preparation, unit administration, overseeing the Human Resources processes, handling overall administration of Give2Asia’s Hong Kong entity, managing relations with G2A’s back-office provider and other vendors, and coordinating with the Board of Trustees. The CFO should have the interest and capacity to handle multiple areas, including strategic, operations and admin, and potentially grow into greater leadership roles within the organization.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of professional experience, with senior leadership experience in a nonprofit or foundation setting required. Experience and familiarity with organizational accounting and finance required. Gift and grant management experience preferred, as well as Human Resources experience.
Education:
Bachelor of Arts degree in business, finance, or related field required. CPA or MBA preferred.
Other:
Strong computer skills, particularly in the use of Excel, and use of the Internet are required. Excellent communication and organizational skills are a must, as is attention to detail, time management, and the ability to multitask and organize multiple projects and information. Experience with database programs required. Familiarity with Asian development issues preferred but not required. Must thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with increasing responsibility.
