POSITION SUMMARY
Position will be responsible for coordinating technical, legal, financial, and administrative components of select processes within the Medical Department of Actelion Pharmaceuticals US.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Coordinates the operational processes of the Actelion US Grants Program.
Coordinates the operational processes of the Actelion US Medical Review Committee
Assists in managing annual publications records and budget
Prepares timely summary reports of the status of all responsible projects
Support electronic document management and quality systems for local users and provide training as needed
• Provide administrative support to Medical Management Team, as needed (15-20%), including calendaring and travel arrangements as well as expense reporting

11. REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors Degree preferred, with minimum 2 years of related work experience in the biotechnology & pharmaceutical industries
Knowledge of CME rules and regulations and strong understanding of US Regulatory and Compliance environment a must
Keen understanding of good publication practice as it relates to generation of publications and corporate contributions in the biotech/pharma industry
CCMEP certification highly preferred
Experience with Datavision publication planning software and Visiontracker grants management system a plus
Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
Strong PC skills, e.g., proficiency in Microsoft Office
